I adore my surf paint paint markers. Especially the 1.0. Going into the studio to use them right now! :)
I am very pleased with surf paint! I was concerned about my original shipment and even though it was over seven days after I received it a new product was sent no questions asked. I haven’t done my project yet, but I am very pleased with the service.
Mostly positive. I haven’t see the fade factor yet but I’m smitten with the smaller version. They aren’t quite as opaque as some markers but the small set is quite fun for watercolor effects In a more acrylic manner.
Unable to get paint down to applicator on some. After 5 minutes of pressing on pink I got color. Flow was uneven. So unhappy.
I have to say I am really disappointed in my new surfPaints,
after all the reviews of how good they are, they will write on anything,
and putting off buying them because of the price, I dont find
them any better than any other paint pens unfortunately.
Surfpaints Full Range of Acrylic Paint Pens Size 4mm Bullet - Special Edition Art Collections Box
Love the products! Fantastic customer service. The new 15mm pens are inspiring new ideas and art for me.
These pens are amazing. Exactly what I needed to make my paintings pop. I have been using them to paint in all the finer details of a series I’m doing showcasing the heritage houses on Launceston. They are clear, bright, reliable and I love the interchangeable nib allowing me to change the thickness of the line. Highly recommend them.
Love these paints
Having so much fun painting on my denim range
The quality is top notch
No fading nor discoloured when washing
These pens seem to be better than recent ones I’ve tried and I am looking forward to ordering more soon. They are great for mark making in my artwork!
Used as final details on surfboard, couldn't be happier with results. Good solid colour, dried fast but still left time to manipulate if needed.
Found Surfpaints from their Instagram post. Thankful that I gave it a try. High quality and beautiful colours and work so well on denim clothings. Highly recommended for fabric painting.
A fantastic range of colours and wonderful flow. So glad to have added them to my studio supplies! I’ve been using a popular brand for years, and they have been frustrating to say the least. So far SurfPaints are shaping up to be everything all the reviews said.
It’s wonderful! It covers nicely n the few that I have used are FLAT colors. I like them n they may possibly be at par if not better than POSCA.
Love this. Goes on really smoothly & so far have not had an issue with blobbing which I continually had an issue with when using the other big name brand
A little disappointed. We finally started decorating our surfboard and I found these pens really difficult to use. The black and white set that I got seemed very dry- some of the pens I had to press the nib down for several minutes to get it to fill with paint and then the strokes were very dry. The blue one in this set seemed to have very little paint in it too- we could only use for a very small amount and it looks very scratchy. It might have been the surface we were working on but the paint flow was very uneven with all colours- we ended up having to intermittently push the nib down to release what ended up being a big blob of paint and then almost use the nib like a paintbrush. It was also difficult going over colours with another colour (eg a white or black outline over a colour). The end result we are relatively happy with but it has much less detail and was much harder than I expected as the paint did not glide on in a steady flow. The kids (8 and 10) found them very hard to work with. I have also bought the spray sealant- the final test is whether it actually stays on when the surfboard gets wet!
