Do you mind if we share your design?

With the school holidays just around the corner, we know that many of you will be taking advantage of the extra family time by painting your own designs on a variety of surfaces, including surfboards. We wanted to share with you how you can easily share your painted designs on all social media platforms.
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to share your painted designs on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Tick Tok.

Take a photo or video of your painted design: We love posts that show the process or include SurfPaints in the image/video.

Open your preferred social media app on your phone, click the '+' button at the bottom of the screen, and select the photo or video you want to upload.

Write a caption for your photo or video. Be sure to include any relevant information about your design, such as the materials you used (SurfPaints), the inspiration behind the design, and any other interesting details.

Use hashtags in your caption. This will help your photo get discovered by other platform users who are interested in similar things. For example, you could use hashtags like #painting, #surfboardart, #designinspiration, or any other relevant hashtags.

Tag relevant accounts in your photo or video. For example, if you painted a surfboard, you could tag surfboard manufacturers or surf shops and definitely SurfPaints.
If creative videos are more your style, why not try uploading to Youtube.
Uploading a video to YouTube is a relatively simple process.

Sign in to your YouTube account: If you don't have a YouTube account, you'll need to create one first.

Click on the camera icon: This is located in the top right-hand corner of the YouTube homepage.

Select "Upload Video": This will take you to the upload screen.
Choose the video file you want to upload:

Once the video has finished uploading, you can add details such as the video title, description, and tags. You can also choose a thumbnail image for your video.

Choose privacy settings: You can choose to make the video public, unlisted (only people with a link can view it), or private (only you can view it).

Publish your video: Once you've filled in all the necessary details, click the "Publish" button to make your video live on YouTube.

That's it! Your video should now be available for people to watch on YouTube.
We hope this guide helps you share your painted designs. We can't wait to see what you create!

If you ever have issues or don't have any social media accounts email your design to mathew@surfpaints, and we will share them for you!
